As we settle down at the table to say a prayer for those who are not around us let’s give thanks for what we do have. It may seem as though it is not enough…or it may seem as though it is too much…but give thanks that you made it through. There is nothing more powerful than the human spirit being able to overcome strife and just be.
This country is in a state of transition as battle lines deepen with each hatred step that is taken. It is up to you to decide whether you want to join in or rise above. I’m hoping you will take the latter. The next 8 years will be tough to handle and lives will be tested. I hope you will take comfort in knowing that you will have the strength to continue on just like our ancestors did before us. Whether you are black, white, purple, or green we have all faced an evil spirit testing us before.
YOU are strong alone but WE are stronger when we come together.
