Purple Showers

Today is the day that I could not await, I dreamed a dream that wouldn’t fade.

I pray that everything is in it’s place, I rush to get everything in haste.

Beautiful silk wraps me with a bow, making me look like I’m a princess for them all.

Whispered words through the doors, making me wonder how did I live on.

I thought that I was fine on my own, but now I see I needed someone to call home.

Gentleman of full proportions, never would he lose his focus.

We said our pledge to one another, now my life is one no longer.

We, we take this journey to the end, until our last dying breath.
